Hello world,

The time has finally come. I get to add my songs and finalize my commercial!!! The songs that I chose is Praise by Elevation Worship, Brandon Lake, Chris Brown, and Chandler Moore, along with Rest On Us by Marverick City Music and Upperroom. I chose these songs because they are currents two of my favorite songs. Whenever I listen to Praise, I always find a smile on my face while hearing it and reminds me of why and when I should praise the Lord, whether it be in my best or darkest times. I also chose Rest On Us because the second that I hear this song, my energy shoots up instantly. It give me motivation along with excitement for what God can and will do, whether it be worldwide or within me and how good it is. These songs represent what I believe in and represents who I am as a person. So, I felt like these two songs would go perfect with my all about me commercial. When inputting the songs into my project, I decided to used Praise for the first half of the commercial and Rest On Us for the second half. For Praise, I edited to song a bit before placing it in the video. I had to choose what section of the song I wanted to use and snip it so I could insert only that specific section. I also had to do that with Rest On Us. To be honest, I had a harder time choosing which part I want for Rest On Us than Praise. For Praise, it was pretty easy to choose the section that I wanted to us, I just used the chorus. But for Rest On Us, it has multiple parts of it that I really like and I was very conflicted on what I wanted to do. In the end, I figured out what I wanted, edited it, and had it ready to just input it into the project. When I went ot go and insert the music in, it gave me a some trouble becasue it said that I had to be a certain file and mine wasn't the correct one. So, I looked up on google to see if there was a website or app that I could download or use in order to switch the file type. Luckly, I was able to use this random website that allowed me to convert it to the right one and I didn't have to download anything, which is something that I really didn't want to do. Anyways, after doing that, I was able place it into my commercial and it all turned out well.

Hello World, Let's get to adding the finishing touches to the film. First, I went straight to the easiest tweak to get it over with, the spooky scene. Like I mentioned before, my mom said that it was too fast, so I slowed it down a bit. Rather than having the speed at 1.2x, I brought it down to 1.1x. By adjusting it the slightest bit, it made it better to notice and see spooky yet not interfere with the length of the video. Next, I went through and found every scene that included dialogue. One of the feedback that I received was that the music was too loud whoever the characters were talking. So, I lowered the volume a bit for every scene that involved talking. This took a while because only a small amount of scenes had no audio or conversation, meaning I had to edit the volume on post of the scenes. Hello World, It's time for feedback. I first went to my parents to show them my film and get their opinions of it. My mom liked it a lot, but some things that she said was that the subtitles were going by too fast. Due to the how quick the subtitles appeared and disappeared from the scene, she was barely able to read what was written. Another comment that she had was that the scene where spooky appears in Daniel's room was too fast as well. According to her, she didn't really notice that spooky was in the room due to how fast the scene was. My dad didn't have much to critic about the film other than that he didn't like the transition to the flashback. He said it was too dramatic and it didn't really fit the film. He also suggested that instead of the Giovanna and Spooky facing the same way, we should invert Giovanna's phone call scene to make it look like they are actually talking to one another.
