Here is the script for our film :)

Script:  

Giovanna’s House (Table to living room to table) 

Sister’s Friend 1: 

 Hey Giovanna, come and play with us 

Big sister: 

Coming!! 

Giovanna’s House (Living room) 

Big sister: 

So what are we playing? 

Sister’s Friend 2: 

It's Charlie Charlie! 

Sister’s Friend 1: 

It’s a game I saw on Instagram and everyone’s playing it! 

Big sister:  

Okay so how do you play? 

Sister’s Friend 1: 

We just ask questions and see if the pencil moves to yes or no. 

Little brother: 

Can I play?  

Sister’s friend 1 & 2: 

No Daniel 

Little brother: 

Can I Please play, I’m really bored! 

Big sister:  

Girls just let him. 

Sister’s friend 1: 

Fine. 

Everyone: 

*gasps* 

Sisters' friend 1: 

I guess it is real! 

Big sister: 

okay so lets do something else

Giovanna’s house (Daniel’s Bedroom) 


Spooky: 

*lurking* 

Little brother: 

*Rubs eyes*   

Spooky: 

*Disappears* 


Target 

Big sister: 

Okay, so I got the chips, i got the shampoo, and I got the salsa. I think I got everything else.am I missing anything? 

Little brother: 

... 

Big Sister: 

Daniel? Daniel? Daniel! Are you listening? 

Little brother:  

you don't see that person staring at us

Big sister: 

See what? Daniel there is nothing there

Little Brother: 

That one person right there staring at us? 

Big Sister

Daniel.

Little Brother

I have been seeing them everywhere lately

Big sister: 

Daniel are you crazy!? there is legitimately nothing there 


 

Street (In front of Giovanna’s house)  

Big sister:  

Daniel, take the things out of the car, I'm going to get ready for church. 

Little brother: 

Okay. 

Spooky: 

*Tilts head staring at little brother* 

*Drops bags* No. NO.

GIOVANNA!!!!! ITS REAL. ITS REAL. 

Giovanna’s house (Giovanna’s room) 


Little Brother:

Giovanna its real!

Big Sister

What? Daniel calm down! What are you talking about? 


Giovanna’s house (Driveway) 

Big sister: 

Danny there's nothing here.

Little brother: 

It was right here! I just saw him!

Big sister: 

Daniel. I am going to go back inside.

stop okay!


Giovanna’s house (Living room) 

*Someone knocks on the door* 

Big sister: 

Hey Daniel, can you open the door? My friend is here to pick up his notebook. 

Spooky: 

*Tilts head creepily* 

Little Brother: 

GIOVANNA! 

*Says while quickly backing away from the door*  

Big sister: 

Hi!

Little brother: 

Wait what? What is going on? 

Spooky: 

*Takes off mask/hood* 

Hey!  

Big sister and Spooky: 

* laughing together*

Little Brother

What's going on 

Big sister: 

We pranked you.  

*Flashback* 

Big sister: 

*On the phone with Spooky* Hey, so I’m about to leave my house with Daniel. We’llbe at Target in like 20 minutes 

Spooky: 

Okay, I’ll see you guys there. 

*Flashback ends* 

Little brother: 

Okay but how did he get into my room? 

Big sister:  

What? 

Little brother: 

how did you get into my room?

Big sister & Spooky: 

*Look at each other*

Hello World, Let's get to adding the finishing touches to the film. First, I went straight to the easiest tweak to get it over with, the spooky scene. Like I mentioned before, my mom said that it was too fast, so I slowed it down a bit. Rather than having the speed at 1.2x, I brought it down to 1.1x. By adjusting it the slightest bit, it made it better to notice and see spooky yet not interfere with the length of the video. Next, I went through and found every scene that included dialogue. One of the feedback that I received was that the music was too loud whoever the characters were talking. So, I lowered the volume a bit for every scene that involved talking. This took a while because only a small amount of scenes had no audio or conversation, meaning I had to edit the volume on post of the scenes. This process wasn't too bad but it took a good chunk of time, but the worst was yet to come. Fixing the timing of the titles was definitely the most time consuming adjustment I had...

Hello World, It's time for feedback. I first went to my parents to show them my film and get their opinions of it. My mom liked it a lot, but some things that she said was that the subtitles were going by too fast. Due to the how quick the subtitles appeared and disappeared from the scene, she was barely able to read what was written. Another comment that she had was that the scene where spooky appears in Daniel's room was too fast as well. According to her, she didn't really notice that spooky was in the room due to how fast the scene was. My dad didn't have much to critic about the film other than that he didn't like the transition to the flashback. He said it was too dramatic and it didn't really fit the film. He also suggested that instead of the Giovanna and Spooky facing the same way, we should invert Giovanna's phone call scene to make it look like they are actually talking to one another.
